Today's story is about a husband and wife who got into a fight over dinner, what could be more normal except that the fight was because of her pronouncing the word "tomato" as "tamata". The husband couldn't eat his food without watching her every move and growing more and more frustrated by the second. Finally she stormed out, vowing never to come back. He didn't try to stop her too much though, because he found himself hungry and alone in their room after she left. The next day he was excitedly looking for food to make for breakfast when he heard low muffled moans coming from his wife's closet. He pressed his ear to the closet door, wondering what she could be up to, and was surprised to hear the moans growing louder and more intense. The next thing he heard was a shriek of total shock from his wife after she discovered him eavesdropping on her! She came running out of her closet wrapped in a towel, shooing him out of the room while she got dressed. Later that afternoon he was sitting at a table in a restaurant alone when a beautiful woman walked by and sat down beside him. They talked for a while and she asked, "Why are you here by yourself?" "My wife left me." He replied sadly. "And do you miss her?" She asked. "Not really," he replied. "I've been thinking of divorcing her for a while." "Really? Why?" She replied. He told her how his wife had shouted "tamata" at him while he was trying to eat breakfast and how the shock of that moment set off a chain reaction of events that led him to contemplate divorce. He elaborated and detailed and illustrated and she listened. When he finished she turned to him and said, "Well, if you will be sure to tell your wife the same thing I just said... I would love to have dinner with you again." He replied that he would tell her the same thing and then asked if they could leave. "We can go after you say it," she replied mysteriously. "Say what?" "Just say what I just said—'tamata' " he pleaded. She laughed seductively and said, "No, no, I want to hear you say it yourself." She continued to tease him until he finally blurted, "Okay! I'm going to divorce her! Now can we please go?" She leaned towards him and said slowly in a low voice... ...and then slowly walked away from him into the waiter's arms. The husband sat in that restaurant for a long time with his face in his hands. "tamtaamtaamtaamtaamaaaataaaaaaoooooo!!!"
