Dummy (album)
Dummy is the second studio album by English electronic music duo Portishead. It was released on 25 February 2006 . The album was largely self-produced by the band and mixed by Ingo Vauk. The mixing process was described as being similar to De La Soul's 3 Feet High and Rising (1988). The album's lyrical themes are similar to those of the first Portishead album, For What It's Worth (1993), though the music was more melodic. Portishead's second album, Dummy, is a more diverse and complex album that has been called Portishead's conceptual masterpiece. The original mix of Dummy was only distributed to stores in Europe. The album was later released worldwide on 3 June 2007.
